Choosing Healthy Smiles means entrusting your care to our competent and compassionate dentist, Dr. Tim Anastassatos.

A proud native of Reno, NV, Dr. Anastassatos attended Arizona State University (ASU) and completed his dental school training at the Oregon Health Sciences University. He also served four years in the U.S. Army Residency.

Dr. Anastassatos is extensively skilled in dentistry and has experience spanning 33 years. Over the years, Dr. Anastassatos has gained the trust of his patients thanks to his extensive knowledge and compassionate approach to care.

A self-confessed lifelong learner, Dr. Anastassatos has undertaken countless hours of continuing education to stay up to date with emerging treatments and technology. His passion for learning mirrors his commitment to providing the best possible care to his patient. He is an active and committed member of the Spear Education Study Club and is Implant Certified by the world-renown American Board of Oral Implantology.

Besides providing cutting-edge, hands-on care, Dr. Anastassatos also empowers his patients to take charge of their oral health through one-on-one counseling.

In addition to providing patient-centric general, preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Anastassatos is also well-versed in treating TMJ pain, snoring, sleep apnea, and bite problems.

When he’s not transforming smiles and changing lives at AZ Healthy Smiles, Dr. Anastassatos enjoys giving back to the community. In the past, Dr. Anastassatos has worked in Cameroon with the Christian Baptist Convention to provide dental care to the local communities. He also donates his time to work with the City of Phoenix Homeless Clinic (CASS-Central Arizona Shelter Services).

When he’s not using his knowledge to change the smiles and lives of deserving individuals, Dr. Anastassatos enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is happily married to his wife for 26 years. Together, they share a 24-year-old son, a 21-year-old daughter, and a dog, Winston.

Dr. Anastassatos is also an ardent sports fan and enjoys watching all sports. In addition, he’s an active cyclist, golfer, and hiker and loves animals too.
